The success of a project greatly depends on its developmental process. Any project we are assigned, from the smallest banner campaign to the largest site redesign, will go through the following phases:
Planning
This is a discovery, question-asking and planning period, which involves understanding and defining needs and objectives, providing cost estimates, and developing a project timeline. It is also a time where we will do an analysis of the marketplace and of the competitive environment, to determine where the market opportunities exist for your company or product.
Design
The goal of the design phase is to explore creative options for the project. This is a time where references, samples, stylistic tastes and ideas are shared. The design phase culminates in a client-approved layout or prototype for the project.
Production
The goal of the production phase is to complete the project once the design is approved. If the assignment is a print one, this would mean getting materials ready for the printers, printed and delivered. If the assignment is an internet one, this would mean completing the design as well as the programming, scripting and/or database construction.
It also includes a testing phase.
